Description

Oak and Linen Canvas Armchair

The “ & The Canvas Armchair & ” by Danish manufacturer Fredericia is one of designer Børge Mogensen’s final pieces of furniture. Designed in 1970, the armchair has now been brought back from the archives. High functionality, natural materials, and a perfectly proportioned design characterize the Canvas armchair. It reflects the ethos of that era—its informal, down-to-earth expression pays homage to the basic forms of nature. Mogensen was already ahead of his time with this armchair, offering simple design as a response to a complex environment. Canvas is a timeless piece of furniture with clear references to traditional safari chairs. Thanks to its simple, sleek design language, it fits into any type of interior. Canvas by Ferdericia is crafted from oak, with a linen canvas upholstery.
