Storylines Wall Shelf

A Unique Wall Shelf with Practical Uses

“ Storylines ” is a practical and innovative shelf designed by Frederik Roijé . The name “ Storylines ” says it all, as the wall shelf is shaped like the structure of stories or dramas: there is an introduction, a build-up to the climax, followed by a decline in tension, and finally the resolution of the plot, expressed in a short horizontal conclusion. Taken together, the individual levels and & “curved sections & ” offer numerous possibilities for placing or leaning books, pictures, or small decorative items. The individual segments make bookends unnecessary. Thanks to its shape, Storylines can easily be linked with other units of its kind. This gives you additional space, and the design continues seamlessly—the story is simply extended by another chapter. The design of “ Storylines ” is unique and, in its combination of practical utility, statement, and the idea behind the design, absolutely outstanding. Here, form does not simply follow function; rather, the two enter into a close symbiosis and influence one another.
