Description
Modern flat plate with a grooved pattern
Small, delicate grooves adorn the Bernadotte Georg Jensen ’s plate. These grooves are characteristic of the functional aesthetic of the Swedish prince’s designs Bernadotte . Paired with a modern, flat shape, the plate brings a touch of minimalism into your home. The rim with the grooved pattern is very decorative and frames your delicious meal.Part of the Bernadotte collection
When the young Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte collaborated with Georg Jensen in 1930, the results were revolutionary for the silversmith. The elegant, geometric objects stood in stark contrast to the company’s previous work and had a strong influence on the emerging functionalist design movement. The Swedish prince is considered a champion of functionalism, and his work served as the inspiration for the Bernadotte Georg Jensen brand’s collection. The plate is made of white porcelain and is available in various sizes.
