Description
Description
German designer Constantin Wortmann enjoys playing with the viewer’s perception. His “ Cobra ” bowl for Georg Jensen has a dynamic appearance and is a prime example of his vision of transformation.
With the “ Cobra ” bowl, Wortmann has translated the fluid design language of the collection from Georg Jensen into a new context. The shape winds gracefully across the table, much like the eponymous “ Cobra .” Thanks to its sculptural form, the “ Georg Jensen ” Cobra bowl is perfect as a freestanding decorative bowl, but this stainless steel bowl from Georg Jensen is also wonderfully suited as a fruit bowl or for serving elegant snacks.
A bowl with serpentine vitality
& quot; Cobra gives the impression that it is rising up and floating & quot;, says Wortmann. The stainless steel bowl exudes a serpentine vitality. Especially when combined with other products from Georg Jensen s Cobra series, countless transformations are possible. Their almost fluid expression gives the Cobra objects from Georg Jensen a dynamic presence on any surface, which, together with their functionality, makes them a stylish piece of furniture and an elegant eye-catcher.
