A Classic Lighting Design with a Canvas Shade

The Gräshoppa Gubi ’s table lamp is a modern design classic. Designed by Greta M. Grossman, it stands out with its distinctive, slanted silhouette and a clean, functional aesthetic. The conical shade provides focused, glare-free light, making the lamp ideal for a desk, sideboard, or nightstand. In the canvas version, the Gräshoppa particularly serene and timeless and blends harmoniously into a wide variety of interior styles—from modern to mid-century. The delicate proportions, the slender frame, and the striking base give the lamp its iconic lightness, which has lost none of its relevance to this day.
