About A Chair AAC 50

Office Chair on Casters

The chairs from the About a Chair collection by HAY are deliberately simple and understated, which is precisely why they can be easily and seamlessly combined with other furniture. Thanks to their simplicity, they blend perfectly into a wide variety of environments and architectural styles, making them ideal for commercial settings. According to designer Hee Welling’s vision, the About a Chair chairs should feel just as at home in a restaurant or cafeteria as they do in an office, at the dining table at home, or at a conference table. In this context, the concept of simplicity became a guarantee of multifunctionality and versatility. The AAC 50 is the height-adjustable version of the popular chair from HAY —the seat height is continuously adjustable between 42 and 55 cm. The seat shell, which has no armrests, is made of solid-colored polypropylene and features an ergonomic shape. The base is a five-star aluminum base, available in a polished finish or powder-coated in various colors. Height adjustment is simple: just apply or release pressure on the chair and operate the lever on the underside of the seat shell. The casters on the swivel chair add to its flexibility, ensuring that the HAY office chair offers maximum comfort while working.
