Mongolian Polycarbonate Rechargeable Flashlight
The Pao battery-powered lantern is an exciting collaboration between Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa and the Danish manufacturer HAY . The lantern was named after the shallow shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents. The Pao lamp is reduced to its simplest form, creating a beautiful everyday object. Thanks to its aesthetic appeal, the lamp also blends beautifully into any living space. Both the base and the shade of the Pao rechargeable lamp are made of durable polycarbonate with a smooth, high-gloss finish. The light source is concealed inside the shade behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser and provides efficient downward lighting. When switched on, it emits a warm, cozy glow. The Pao HAY ’s rechargeable lamp is available in a variety of colors and can be moved and placed wherever you like.
