Revolt Chair

An

Iconic Chair for Versatile Use

HAY ’s Revolt Chair is one of Friso Kramer’s most famous designs and embodies his unmistakable minimalist style: a streamlined, industrial design featuring a selection of materials that replaces a conventional tubular frame with a bent sheet steel frame. Today, HAY is reissuing the Revolt Chair. While retaining its functionality and robust construction, the materials have been made more sustainable. The design chair is now made from a blend of recycled post-consumer material and ABS plastic. The resulting flexibility ensures a high level of seating comfort, even after hours of sitting. Thanks to its comfort, durability, and timeless aesthetics, the Revolt Chair is suitable for use in a wide variety of private, business, or public spaces.

Steel and Plastic in Various Colors

The chair’s frame is made of powder-coated steel, and the seat and backrest are made of ABS plastic. It is available in many different color combinations.
