Description
A modern interpretation of the classic mantelpiece ornament
The grandfather clock is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional mantelpiece ornament. The deliberate play with contrasting shapes and proportions creates a tension that sharpens the design and makes the clock a striking eye-catcher. Functional yet unexpected in its shape, it easily adapts to a mantelpiece, sideboard, open shelf or floating wall shelf. Designed by Teun Zwets, whose unconventional approach with loud colors, shiny surfaces and raw materials makes this clock a real character piece that dominates the room instead of blending in.- Contrasting shapes and proportions
- Unusual shape that rethinks the representation of time
- Versatile use on a mantelpiece, sideboard or wall shelf
