Description

Wall and ceiling light with winged light bulbs

The “ Lucellino Doppio ” wall and ceiling light by Ingo Maurer is a new version of the Lucellino, which can now be mounted on the wall or ceiling. The focus here is on the light bulb, whose wings make it appear to float in the room like a glowing bird. The lamp’s name is a play on words that references its design: “luce” means “light” in Italian, and “uccellino” means “little bird.” Whether in a child’s room, bedroom, or living room, this design piece lends every space a heavenly flair.

Brass, plastic, and goose feathers

The wall and ceiling lamp is made of glass, brass, and plastic, and the wings are handcrafted from real goose feathers. The lamp’s wire frame can be adjusted to suit individual preferences. This unusual design by Ingo Maurer dates from 201 8.
