Granite Mortar with Pestle and Bamboo Lid

Unlike conventional mortars, the " Dash " mortar and pestle from Joseph Joseph features a stylish design and a reversible bamboo lid. The lid serves several purposes: First, it keeps the mortar clean and dust-free during storage and, thanks to its deep groove, provides a secure hold for the pestle. When removed and flipped over, the lid can be used as a surface for ingredients or even as a small cutting board.

Perfect for garlic, spices, and pesto

The heavy mortars and pestles are made of durable natural granite, making them ideal for crushing garlic, grinding spices, pounding herbs, and making pesto and salsas. Please wash and dry by hand.
