Kähler ’s Hammershøi Christmas tablecloth transforms the dining table into a wintry scene. The motifs were created by artist Rikke Jacobsen, who designed them for the Hammershøi Christmas series.
Little Stories in Motifs
Scattered across the tablecloth are Christmas hearts, gingerbread men, snowmen, drums, pinecones, and birds. Green twigs—like the larch twig featured in the series—connect the motifs and create a sense of continuity.
A harmonious pairing with the tableware
The tablecloth is part of the Hammershøi Christmas series, which also includes tableware and napkins. This creates a harmonious overall look that guests notice as soon as they walk in. The generous surface also offers space for candles or small floral arrangements.
