An unexpected gust of wind causes the pages of a newspaper to flutter. This was the creative inspiration for the Front Page newspaper rack, designed by the Swedish design team Front for Kartell . The Front Page design freezes the pages in mid-flip, creating a stylistically appealing and elegant piece of small furniture with curved forms, whose shelves open in a smooth semicircle. It’s up to you to fill the blank pages of Front Page with content: Each open “page” offers space to store magazines, newspapers, or books. The curved edges of each shelf prevent your reading material from slipping off. Kartell manufactures the Front Page magazine rack from polycarbonate in several transparent colors and two opaque colors. The available colors are inspired by some of the most visually striking magazines and daily newspapers, such as the red of *Time* magazine or the yellow of *National Geographic*.
