The Piuma armchair was designed by Piero Lissoni for Kartell and is made from an innovative carbon-reinforced plastic derived from the automotive and aerospace industries; however, due to the complex manufacturing process, this material has not yet found its place in the furniture industry.Light as a feather and extremely sturdy
The carbon-reinforced plastic is significantly lighter, yet durable enough that the material thickness can be reduced to a maximum of two millimeters. The armchair thus appears as light as a feather (Italian: Piuma) and, weighing just 2 kg, is unbeatable. Despite its featherweight design, the plastic chair is extremely robust, stable on its four-legged base, and even weather-resistant for use on patios and balconies. The ergonomically shaped seat is extremely comfortable, and the armrests extend from the seat shell like two wings. The Piuma armchair by Piero Lissoni for Kartell is made of thermoplastic polymer reinforced with carbon fiber and is available in various colors.

Returns
If an item doesn't meet your expectations, you can return it within our extended 60-day returns period.
- Faulty or defective items: return shipping is free of charge.
- Parcel returns: €5 return fee.
- Freight returns: €150 collection fee.
