Small FL/Y Pendant Light

Fly Light by Ferruccio Laviani

Fl/y is a versatile pendant light designed by Ferruccio Laviani. The original design from 2002 is now also available in a smaller “small” version. With its focused light, the pendant light illuminates living room areas, kitchen islands, or dining tables—either individually or in groups.

Transparent or Opaque

Kartell ’s Fly lamp is available with either a solid-colored, transparent shade in various colors or an opaque shade in different versions. The transparent version, with its charming sheen, is reminiscent of soap bubbles. Airy and light, as if it were floating, the Fly light is available in a wide variety of shades: from sage green to cardinal red to petroleum blue.
In the opaque version, the pendant light is available in white, copper, gold, or chrome. The shade is opaque in these versions, which concentrates the light even more.

Pendant Light for the Living and Dining Areas

The Fly pendant light from Kartell is particularly well-suited for focused lighting in the living and dining areas. Thanks to the adjustable suspension, the light can be perfectly adapted to table or counter height. The shade—or dome—of the Fly pendant light is not a perfect hemisphere, so its height at the cut-off point is slightly less than its diameter. This allows the emitted light to be better concentrated and directed precisely.

Colors and Shapes in Large and Small

The Fly light is a popular design by Ferruccio Laviani, available not only in a small version but also as a larger model, as well as in a wide selection of different colors. In addition to soft watercolors and classic black and white, the large version of the light is also available in elegant metallic tones. The pendant light can be arranged in various sizes, colors, and finishes to create an interesting lighting ensemble, illuminating living and dining areas.
