Basic Futon Mattress – Tradition Meets Modern Comfort
The Basic Futon Karup Design mattress combines the authentic feel of a Japanese futon with the comfort of a modern foam mattress. With a thickness of 11 cm, a cotton filling, and a PU foam core, it offers a perfect balance between support and softness. The medium-firm comfort level adapts perfectly to the body, while the foam core gently cushions light movements. The addition of 5–10% polyester gives the futon greater density and durability, while still keeping it breathable and pleasantly natural. Each mattress is carefully handcrafted—so slight variations are a sign of genuine craftsmanship.- 11 cm thick mattress with cotton filling and PU foam core
- Medium-firm comfort with gentle motion absorption
- Handcrafted and durable—inspired by traditional Japanese futon design
