Pipistrello LED Table Lamp

{h2} Table Lamp – An Icon of Italian Design: the Pipistrello LED by Martinelli Luce {/h2} The {b} Pipistrello LED table lamp {/b} from {b} Martinelli Luce {/b} is an icon of Italian lighting design. Designed in 1965 by Gae Aulenti, the lamp owes its name to its distinctive diffuser, whose curved shape is reminiscent of a bat’s wings. The opal-white methacrylate diffuser distributes the light softly and diffusely, creating a pleasant atmosphere in living rooms, bedrooms, or lounge areas. A distinctive feature is the telescoping stem made of satin-finished stainless steel. This allows the height of the Pipistrello to be adjusted between 70 and 86 cm, so it can be used as both a table lamp and a floor lamp. The conical base and handle are made of aluminum and are available in various finishes. With a diameter of 55 cm, the lamp has a striking, sculptural presence. The dimmable LED light source emits warm white light at 2700 Kelvin and allows the brightness to be adjusted to suit different situations. Thus, the Pipistrello combines expressive design, flexible use, and modern LED technology to create a timeless lighting object.
