Description

Light Fixture with Unusual Materials

The Grain pendant light by Muuto brings a whole new perspective to the world of pendant lights—thanks to the unusual materials used to create the Grain’s shade: Its matte finish is achieved through a special blend of bamboo fibers and plastic. This blend creates unique color nuances and ensures that natural textures remain visible. As a result, the light fixture exudes an unexpected warmth and softness, and despite its minimalist form, it possesses a distinctly individual character. & “Interesting details like the reinforced edge and the hidden cable mount give Grain plenty of character despite its simple and iconic design &,” says Swedish designer Jens Fager about the pendant light he developed. The Grain pendant lamp is available in various colors and looks especially striking when combined with several Grain lamps—for example, hung in a row above the dining table.
