Description

New Zealand wool rug with a wavy pattern

The Wabisabi wool rug from nanimarquina . The Wabisabi philosophy celebrates the idea that true beauty lies not in perfection, but in the acceptance of imperfections. Every Wabisabi rug is a testament to the art of weaving, experimentation, and the ability to learn from mistakes and find joy in the journey. By carefully adjusting the warp and weft, we create visual textures and harmonies that weave together into a graceful, imperfect, undulating pattern. These subtle variations lend each rug character and depth, inviting the viewer to appreciate the charm of imperfection. Available in captivating color combinations as well as their inverted counterparts, each rug is a testament to the beauty found in embracing imperfection.
