Heima Single-candle holder

Small Cast-Iron Candle Holder

The 1-Candle Holder is the slender version of the award-winning Heima candleholder from Normann Copenhagen . Heima It provides a stable and secure hold for a single candle. The candleholder is made of sturdy cast iron and features a minimalist, Nordic design. According to Norse mythology, Heima “home” or “world.” Designer Francis Cayouette chose this term for his series of cast-iron candle holders. The uneven, almost cold surface gives the Heima candleholder character, while its rounded shapes give it a modern look. The Heima single-candle holder is inspired by the Nordic culture of open fires and the arts and crafts movement of the 1950s, which primarily used cast iron. Heima It pays tribute to artisanal craftsmanship and Nordic tradition.

Open Fireplaces as the Designer’s Inspiration

Designer Francis Cayouette explains: “Craftsmanship must have a distinctive character and a story behind it. I’ve always been fascinated by the Nordic tradition of lighting and coziness created by open fires, and working on this candleholder was a choice that came naturally. Cast iron is an exciting raw material that has been in use for many years. It feels good to the touch and gives the candlestick its contours. The “ Heima ” candlestick is simple and doesn’t steal the show; instead, it makes room for its actual function—the open flame.” To clean the Heima candleholder, Normann Copenhagen recommends warm water and a dry cloth. If there are any unwanted wax residues on Heima , place the product on a sheet of parchment paper in the oven. After five minutes at about 250° C, remove Heima it out of the oven and wipe off the remaining wax. Caution: The object will be very hot.
