Handcrafted Poetry by Wouters &, and Hendrix
Serax ’s Les Objets Mouleversants candleholders are expressive design objects that are more than mere sources of light. Created by the renowned Belgian design duo Wouters &, and Hendrix, they combine emotional depth with artisanal precision and surrealist sophistication. The name “Les Objets Mouleversants” is a poetic play on words—derived from “moule” (mold) and “bouleversant” (moving). Each candleholder resembles a small sculpture, whose organic, almost flowing form conveys a sense of movement, vulnerability, and beauty. Crafted from fine ceramic, the candleholders draw on iconic design elements from Wouters & amp; Hendrix—including the surrealist checkerboard pattern that playfully engages with illusion and perspective. Each candleholder is hand-painted, making it a unique work of art with a distinctive character.- & Designed by Wouters & Hendrix—creative, artistic & & iconic
- Handcrafted—each piece is one-of-a-kind
- Sculptural candleholder with meaning—both a light fixture & and a design statement
