Description

Ash and Maple Fruit Rack

The stylish “ Fruits on air ” fruit rack from Side by Side is a chic and space-saving storage solution for fruit. Placed in the kitchen, all kinds of fruit find their own special spot across three levels. Thanks to its sleek design, it takes up significantly less space than a traditional fruit bowl. Additionally, the fruit is better ventilated, which in turn extends its shelf life and results in fewer bruises. The design was created by Marisa Christl as part of a student project at Ecosign in Cologne. The rack is produced at the Caritas Wendelstein Workshops, a workshop for people with disabilities.
