Works Desk

Height-adjustable desk

People are not made to sit still. We work better if we change our posture from time to time. When we alternate between standing and sitting, we can concentrate better and feel better. The height-adjustable desk from the Works collection from String collection is a classic work desk, but without the heavy feel. With an adjustment range between 715 and 1185 mm, it is suitable for people and professions of all kinds. A small but useful detail adds to the benefits of the String desk: a small compartment in the table top is suitable for passing cables through for lights or notebooks or for charging smartphones. The frame of the Works desk frame is made of thin metal tubes - a fact that gives it its visual lightness. The desk was created for work environments of all kinds, but its elegant design also makes it suitable for use at home. The table, designed by Björn Dahlström and Anna von Schewen, is also suitable as a small conference table, as it offers the option of cable management and has a large free space at the bottom. With its height adjustment, the String Works desk is also suitable for spontaneous meetings where standing at the table seems appropriate. The adaptable designer desk can be used flexibly, just like the original String shelving system, it can be used flexibly - and again and again. It can be perfectly combined with other products from the Swedish manufacturer, but is also suitable as a stand-alone piece. Another advantage of the desk is the many accessories from the String Works collection. The desk is available in all of the String offered colors and sizes.
