The children's chair S 43 K by Thonet is a smaller version of the iconic S 4 tubular steel chair 3. The structure, based on Mart Stam’s design, consists of a free-swinging tubular steel frame complemented by seat and backrest shells made of molded wood. The frame and shells, with their minimalist design, surprise with a rocking effect that makes the chair so comfortable that upholstery is unnecessary. The design is dynamic, ergonomic, and invites you to linger. This makes the children’s chair S 43 K is perfect as a desk chair for studying, drawing, and reading.In bold colors
The children’s chair S 43 K is available in a wide variety of cheerful colors that create great accents. For the color selection, the Hamburg-based design studio Besau Marguerre drew inspiration from minerals and gemstones. The stains used are particularly sustainable and safe for children.
