Thonet S 285/1 Desk: A Bauhaus Classic by Marcel Breuer for Your Home Office
The Thonet S 285/1 desk combines delicate lines with a functional work surface. Designed by Marcel Breuer in 1935, it is one of the classics of the New Objectivity movement and still looks fresh in modern offices and home offices.
Thonet [email protected] has a long history, producing furniture made of bentwood and tubular steel since 1819. The S 285 embodies the Bauhaus ideal of uniting art and technology into a single entity.
Floating Lightness
The curved frame supports the wooden elements so that they appear to float above the floor. Thanks to its compact appearance, the desk fits seamlessly into smaller spaces without dominating the surroundings.
Flexibly Configurable
The S 285 is available in various configurations, with one or more units and with or without shelves. This allows the desk to be adapted to your space requirements and work style. Use the configurator to select your preferred version step by step.
Comfort in the Details
The drawers feature full-extension slides and soft-close mechanisms. They glide smoothly and close quietly, making it effortless to keep the workspace tidy.
