S 32 VL Lounge Chair

Classic Cantilever Chair as a Lounge Chair

The S 32 Lounge is a modern interpretation of the famous cantilever design (copyright: Mart Stam), which ranks among the most popular and well-known pieces of tubular steel furniture. This timeless design piece fits seamlessly into a wide variety of design environments and applications. As a lounge chair, the S 32 Lounge combines architecturally clean lines with exceptional comfort. The cantilevered steel tube frame plays a key role in providing a comfortable seating experience that captures the characteristic qualities of cantilever chairs. What makes the S 32 Lounge unique is that it combines the typical characteristics of a cantilever chair with the design features of lounge furniture. The seat has been generously widened (58 cm) for maximum ergonomics and is slightly tilted backward. Without armrests, this lounge chair fosters a conversational atmosphere that encourages relaxed coexistence and interaction. With a comfortable seat height of 40 cm, it harmonizes perfectly with sofas and fits seamlessly into various interior designs. Compared to upholstered armchairs, the S 32 Lounge stands out for its formal lightness and compact dimensions, ensuring it does not dominate the space but instead exudes a transparent and spacious aura thanks to its airy tubular steel frame. The S 32 Lounge is ideal as a complementary piece to sofas or as a standout statement piece in coworking spaces, prestigious reception areas, or stylishly designed private rooms. Its versatility and timeless elegance make it the perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfortable yet stylish lounge chair.
