The S 40 Outdoor Chair by Thonet is a classic cantilever chair that appeared as early as 1935 in the Thonet catalog under the name B 33 g (g for garden). Today’s S 40 Outdoor Chair is crafted from solid Iroko wood from Africa, which is characterized by its high density and excellent weather resistance. Additionally, the wooden slats of the backrest and seat are oiled, making them ideally suited for outdoor use. The curved frame, on the other hand, is made of weather-resistant stainless steel and provides an elegant contrast to the warm wood. The S 40 Outdoor Chair is available with or without armrests and pairs perfectly with other garden furniture from the All Seasons collection by Thonet .
