S 64 V Cantilever Chair

Iconic cantilever chair with armrests—the S 64 V by Thonet combines Bauhaus design with exceptional seating comfort

The S 64 V cantilever chair by Thonet is one of Marcel Breuer’s most famous designs and embodies the timeless elegance of the Bauhaus. The characteristic tubular steel frame gives the chair its floating lightness and, thanks to the cantilever principle, ensures a pleasantly springy seating experience. The seat and backrest, crafted from high-quality Viennese wicker, create an intriguing contrast to the delicate frame, while the elegantly shaped wooden armrests underscore the cozy character of this design classic.

With its combination of precise craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and ergonomic design, the S 64 V is equally suited for dining rooms, conference rooms, or stylish living areas. The durable Viennese wicker ensures high seating comfort and a natural look, while the chrome-plated tubular steel frame provides stability and a timeless appearance. Thus, the S 64 V cantilever chair combines Thonet iconic design, functional sophistication, and enduring quality into a piece of furniture that has set the standard for generations.
