Made of durable borosilicate glass—which is otherwise primarily used in chemistry labs—the cup is particularly heat- and cold-resistant, making it ideal for all kinds of beverages. Not only does the material evoke chemistry, but the flask- and cylinder-like shapes are also strongly reminiscent of the familiar glassware found in laboratories. The harmonious color combination of translucent pink and rich gray—which is also featured in the matching Bump teapot from Tom Dixon —adds a special visual appeal. Together, they create a high-quality set perfect for serving coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in style. The Bump teacup is available in a set of two.
