Ita Dining Table - Minimalist Design with Japanese Inspiration
The Ita dining table, available in the OS1 and OS2 versions, is an outstanding example of minimalist design with Japanese inspiration. With its clean lines and functionality, it embodies OEO Studio’s philosophy of focusing on the essentials. The table features a tabletop made of two precisely crafted planks resting on wide yet slender wooden legs.Designer Lykke describes the design process as follows: “Sometimes the simplest composition is the most difficult. Omitting elements is always harder than adding them. With the Ita table, we focused on the essentials and kept only what is truly relevant.” The Ita -collection combines Scandinavian design with Japanese Miyadaiku craftsmanship, which allows for wood joints without screws or glue. The name & quot; Ita & ” (Japanese for “ & & ”) reflects the focus on minimalism, high-quality materials, and precise craftsmanship.

- The Ita benches complement the dining tables in the collection and continue the minimalist design.
