Little Petra Lounge Chair

Comfortable armchair with plush fur

The Little Petra Lounge Chair by designer Viggo Boesen was first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition in 1938, immediately met with praise and won awards at exhibitions in Berlin and New York, among others. It is one of the designs Boesen produced in the 1930s and can be counted among the spartes of the Danish Funkis style, a style characterized by a softer, more lush and organic aesthetic than the Bauhaus approach of the time.

Legs in wood

Litte Petra is distinguished by its inviting design: The deep seat and wide, curved backrest invite you to linger and provide exceptional comfort. The curved ears gently embrace the user, making him feel secure and welcome. Four round-shaped wooden legs form the base of the armchair and, due to their shape, emphasize the organic design language of the chair. The Little Petra Lounge Chair from & Tradition fits perfectly into an existing seating group, but also provides a great eye-catcher standing alone.
