& amp;Tradition’s “ Wire Hocker VP11 ” embodies Verner Panton’s penchant for geometric shapes and wire as a visual element. Wire was originally launched in 1981. This reissue of the lightweight, stackable stool also serves as a versatile side table. Panton, known for his avant-garde ideas, set new standards by exploring industrial materials such as steel wire—a departure from the prevailing use of wood in Danish design. Wire, a recurring theme throughout Panton’s career, played a central role in his innovative design approach and enabled him to create designs that had previously been unthinkable.
