Description
Floor lamp with steel wire frame
The Wire Verpan floor lamp was designed by Danish designer Verner Panton in 197 2. The lamp features a twisted steel wire frame that resembles a spring, giving it an airy, lightweight appearance. The frame culminates in a hemispherical plastic shade that conceals a metal reflector. As a result, the lamp emits a soft, diffused light that bathes the room in a cozy atmosphere. The lamp’s shape is reminiscent of a light bulb, making it a real eye-catcher. Verner Panton was known for his extravagant designs and his playful use of shapes, colors, and materials. The Wire floor lamp clearly bears the designer’s signature and is part of his successful furniture and lighting collection. The Wire lamp is also available as a table lamp.
