In 2020, the classic Eames chair returns to its roots and is once again being manufactured by Vitra using fiberglass in select original colors. The four-legged base is available in chrome-plated or powder-coated steel. The Eames Fiberglass Armchair DAR (Dining Height Armchair Rod Base) is offered by Vitra in many different variations, colors, and with various bases. This allows you to customize the chair to your own preferences. The fiberglass version stands out with its fibrous surface texture, which makes each chair a unique piece.Suitable for Outdoor Use
The DAR armchair can be arranged in a private setting at the dining table, desk, or individually in the hallway, but it also fits perfectly in restaurants and hotels. With a powder-coated base, the chair can also be used in the garden or outdoor areas.
