Sebra - Interior for Kids
The name Sebra stands for high-quality design - children's furniture and accessories for children and their children's rooms from Denmark. The company was founded in 2004 by Mia Dela, who completed a design degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Kolding and then worked as an employed designer for a year before starting her own business.
The idea for a design company that exclusively produces children's furniture and accessories came to Dela when she wanted to furnish her son Gustav's nursery and found that there was no furniture, accessories or toys available that met her standards for quality and design. She decided to start her own design studio for children's furniture. Sebra's collection ranges from dressers and beds to towels and tableware for children and includes several hundred products. Over 20 employees, who are themselves parents of almost twice as many children, are constantly working on new designs and series for children's rooms in Denmark and around the world.
Sebra Design - Danish craftsmanship and natural materials
Sebra's style is strongly based on traditional Danish craftsmanship, combining bold colors with solid techniques such as crochet and knotting. Some of Sebra's baby and children's products are made under organic criteria and local projects are supported in the countries where the products are sold. Natural materials such as wood, wool and cotton are main components of the collection and are processed by hand. Materials that stimulate the imagination of children and fulfill the desire of parents for quality and creativity.
The Kili collection brings together various Sebra furniture for children of the same style - this includes the Sebra children's bed , the matching Kili mattress and a changing table . Beyond the Sebra children's furniture, there are many other accessories that make the children's room a play paradise and tidying up a breeze.
