Annebet Philips' homage to the first idea
With the Carte Blanche collection, Dutch designer Annebet Philips celebrates her debut at Serax . The coffee and tea service is an artistic reinterpretation of classic shapes that were initially playfully cut out of cardboard. The irregular edges, fold lines and hand-painted lines of these prototypes were deliberately retained in the porcelain, so that each piece embodies the spontaneous character of the initial idea. The collection includes espresso cups, cappuccino and tea cups, a milk jug and teapot - all with an unmistakably poetic, sketchy charm.
