Soon after he turned to interior design, initially for the purpose of furnishing his own home, and then to furnish restaurants, apartments and offices. He also became active in the field of product design and worked for numerous well-known manufacturers - including Artemide.
His furniture and lighting designs have won awards including the prestigious Compasso D'Oro Award and are still enjoyed by many design enthusiasts today.
