Carpet from PET bottles in geometric pattern
The Tiles carpet from the Spanish house Nanimarquina inspires with its square and rectangular pattern. Designer Nani Marquina was inspired by sidewalks in public places for the design. The interaction of the modules provides an architectural pattern, which offers the possibility to add or remove rugs without changing the original combination.
The carpets of the Tiles collection are hand-woven in the Dhurrie technique and are made of 100% recycled PET produced in India. They can be wonderfully placed in the kitchen, bathroom or even outdoors. The material is extremely durable, but at the same time easy to clean. It also has great thermal properties. By using sustainable material, which is made by recovering and reusing polyethylene waste, the impact of burning plastic bottles in India is minimized.
