The Unikko blanket from Marimekko is made from organic cotton in a jacquard knit and exudes both style and comfort. The short fringes on all sides give this blanket a touch of elegance. In addition, the colors of the pattern are reversed on the other side, so it can be styled in a variety of ways.

Unikko by Maija Isola
Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964 and has become a global icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko , Armi Ratia, initially believed that it was impossible to reproduce the essence of real flowers in print, which led to their exclusion from the collections. As a result, Isola designed Unikko as an abstract representation rather than a photorealistic image. Today, Unikko symbolizes joy and creativity and fits seamlessly into the design ethos of Marimekko .
