from organic

cotton using the Jacquard knitting technique and exudes both style and comfort. The short fringes on all sides add a touch of elegance to this blanket. Additionally, the colors of the pattern are reversed on the other side, making it versatile for various styling options. Please note that products woven using the Jacquard technique may vary slightly in size.

Unikko by Maija Isola

Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964 and has become a global icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko , Armi Ratia, initially believed it was impossible to capture the essence of real flowers in print, which led to their exclusion from the collections. In response, Isola designed Unikko as an abstract representation rather than a photorealistic depiction. Today, Unikko symbolizes joy and creativity and fits seamlessly into the design ethos of Marimekko .
