Noè is a bottle rack designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Alessi. The name of the system has a biblical origin.
The Alessi Noè is, with tongue in cheek, named after Noah, the first man to plant vines and gain wine from them in the Bible. The wine rack was designed by Iacchetti as a functional object which can also serve as a decorative element on working desks or also on the kitchen floor.
A special detail of the Noè bottle rack by Alessi is its modular use. Each module is able to hold one bottle and can easily be inserted between two more racks through a groove along its base. Through the combination and the placing several Noè elements on top of one another, structures can be created that hold as many wine bottles as desired.
