Original 1227 Mini Desk lamp

Small Desk Lamp by Carwardine

The Original 1227 Mini desk lamp from the long-established English company Anglepoise is about one-third smaller than its larger counterpart, yet is in no way inferior to it. As a faithful replica of the desk lamp developed in 1935 by designer and automotive engineer George Carwardine, it fits perfectly wherever its larger counterpart would be too big.
The mini desk lamp impresses equally with its timeless, classic design, its high-quality materials, and the great flexibility of its light direction.

Stability and Sturdy Chrome Fittings

The lampshade, made of steel, and the arms, made of lightweight aluminum, are connected by sturdy, durable chrome fittings. The cast-iron base with a steel cover ensures perfect stability. The desk lamp is complemented by a high-quality fabric cord, creating a harmonious whole.

Great flexibility with tension spring technology

Depending on your needs, the Original 1227 desk lamp can be precisely adjusted to any height thanks to its specially developed tension spring technology. The flexible shade can also be swiveled in any direction. This allows the lamp to adapt to any situation—whether for reading on the sofa, as a bedside lamp next to the bed, or as a task light for both personal and professional use. This classic makes a statement in both living and work spaces, characterized by a subtle retro aesthetic combined with a modern, contemporary design. The adaptable Original 1227 Mini desk lamp is now part of a diverse collection and is available in various colors.
