Original 1227 Table Lamp

Classic Table Lamp by Carwardine

The Original 1227 table lamp from the long-established English company Anglepoise —designed in 1935 by designer and automotive engineer George Carwardine—continues to set the standard for many other table lamps today. The lamp impresses equally with its timeless, classic design, its high-quality materials, and its great flexibility in light direction.

Stability and Sturdy Chrome Fittings

The high-gloss lacquered shade and arms, made of lightweight aluminum, are connected by sturdy, durable chrome fittings. The cast-iron base with a steel cover ensures perfect stability. The table lamp is complemented by a high-quality fabric cord, creating a harmonious whole.

Great flexibility and height adjustability

Depending on your needs, the Original 1227 table lamp can be precisely adjusted to any height using the specially developed tension spring mechanism. The flexible shade can also be swiveled in any direction. This allows the lamp to adapt to any situation—whether for reading on the sofa, as a bedside lamp next to the bed, or as a task light for both personal and professional use. This classic makes a statement in both living and work spaces, characterized by a subtle retro aesthetic combined with a modern, contemporary design. The adaptable Original 1227 table lamp is now part of a diverse collection and is available in various colors.
