Shade Outdoor Rug

Outdoor Rug with a Complex Color Gradient

The Shade outdoor rug from nanimarquina stands out for its sophisticated color gradient, created through a complex process. The rug, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, was designed by Turkish designer Begüm Cana Özgür. In each rug, two gradient colors—one vertical and one horizontal—converge on the same plane, utilizing six transitional shades. Just as colors blend together in the sky, the Shade rug creates a complex and evocative color gradient that becomes an eye-catcher on the patio or balcony.

Made from recycled and durable PET

The rug is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, is made from recycled PET, and is available in various designs. This makes the rug not only durable and weather-resistant but also eco-friendly and sustainably produced. The material is created through the process of recovering and reusing polyethylene (PET) waste—primarily plastic bottles—from which a lightweight fiber is extracted. Recycled PET offers high abrasion resistance and good thermal properties, making it the perfect fiber for outdoor rugs. The environmental benefits of this process are countless: it reduces environmental impact, avoids the use of non-renewable natural resources, and lowers energy consumption.
