Timeless design continues to appeal. When decorating with home accessories , a timeless piece can bring a fresh touch to your home. Among the enduring classics are designer vases. They are both practical and decorative. With a Kähler Design vase, you can bring home a piece of design history from the Danish brand, founded in 1839. Kähler Design vases have a distinctive look and are carefully made. The skills behind their quality and character have been passed down through generations, from the workshop of Herrmann A. Kähler (HAK). This heritage continues to inform the brand's work today. Handmade, yet understated, these pieces have a considered place in interior design. The original "HAK" mark on the base identifies an authentic piece.

1. Danish vase design for minimalists: the Omaggio vase
The black Kähler Omaggio vase was designed by Danish designers Ditte Reckweg and Jelena S. Nordentoft of design studio Stilleben. Its delicately drawn horizontal black stripes make a confident statement on a balanced, gently rounded shape. It is also available in minimalist white with silver stripes, or in pearl with pearlescent bands. Its elegant form invites you to style it with a decorative spring branch, pink cherry blossom or a lavish magnolia sprig. Dried branches without flowers look attractive, too. Pair your Kähler Design Omaggio vase with a decorative bowl or a candleholder from the Omaggio collection. This creates a coordinated table setting.
2. A loving touch: the Kähler Design Love Song vase
A flower vase for romantics? Made by Kähler Design, the cylindrical Love Song vase features lines from love songs, including "Love me tender" and "All you need is love", as well as the word LOVE. The subtle lettering can be seen and felt, and the lyrics may linger in your mind. The clean typography is delicately embossed into the surface of the cylindrical vase. Its appeal comes from the contrast between the rough stoneware and the lettering. Choose from colours to suit your home: limestone white, soft grey and sand. The matt exterior and fully glazed interior make it suitable for use as a design vase . It comes in heights of 125 mm, 220 mm and 300 mm. Arranged together at different heights, the Love Song vases make an appealing display. Their understated look works well against contrasting natural wood surfaces such as oak, beech or maple. Small bouquets can still let the words "sing", even when partly covered by the flowers. This is a thoughtful piece of decoration and a striking reminder of love for special occasions, such as a wedding anniversary, birthday or another celebration with friends or a partner.
3. A sculptural porcelain vase: the Hammershøi classic
An eye-catching classic, the Hammershøi vase by the renowned Kähler. Its distinctive sculptural shape is inspired by a Greek amphora and based on a model used by designer Svend Hammershøi at Kähler around 1900 (the current design is by Hans-Christian Bauer). A characteristic ribbed pattern, reminiscent of broad pleats, defines the surface. The design is challenging to make, and glazing it requires care: glaze can pull away from edges, leaving the material visible. HAK's version demonstrates the Danish workshop's craftsmanship. Kähler Design Hammershøi vases come in white, anthracite, rose and mint. The 250 mm model makes a particularly strong impression; the range also includes heights of 200 mm and 100 mm. The rounded shape is used for the 125 mm porcelain vase, which is ideal for fuller bouquets. These designer vases also pair well with Hammershøi dinnerware for a coordinated table setting. Hammershøi vases are dishwasher-safe at a maximum of 55°.
