kaschkasch was founded in 2011 by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider. The design duo works internationally in product design and art direction.
Conversations and discussions are the starting point for every design. kaschkasch sees design as a helpful, practical part of everyday life – understated, yet with character and attitude. Their designs combine clarity and poetry, moving between function and formal rigour: simple, challenging and logical. kaschkasch questions established norms and offers new answers to the ever-changing challenges of everyday life.
Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider share both a practical and an academic background: both are trained cabinetmakers and graduated in product design. This versatility defines their work. For kaschkasch, hands-on work and technical understanding are part of the design method: traditional craftsmanship paired with a mindset for innovation and new technological solutions.
