A design duo from Norway
Morten & Jonas are Morten Skjærpe Knarrum and Jonas Norheim, two young designers who work together as a team on furniture and interior design. Both were born in 1980 and hold a master's degree in design from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Norway. After graduating, they founded their joint design studio in Oslo, Norway, in 2011.
The designers are based in Bergen in Norway, where they work on both social and commercial projects, always aiming to build a bridge between the two worlds. Their designs show a strong curiosity about shapes and materials, along with a dash of humour. Their clients include Ligne Roset, Northern Lighting and Petite Friture. In 2013, they designed the Bake Me a Cake table lamp in collaboration with inmates in Bergen.
