Modern and Timeless Nativity Scene
The Bark Nativity Scene from Alessi is a modern interpretation of the traditional nativity scene. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for any living space, and its timeless design creates a special atmosphere at Christmas. The nativity scene was designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui.Made of stainless steel and epoxy-coated steel
The nativity scene consists of a stable housing the Three Wise Men, Mary, Joseph, and the Baby Jesus, as well as a donkey and an ox. It is available in either polished stainless steel or epoxy-coated steel in white and gold. The two designers drew inspiration for the nativity scene and the other objects in the Bark series from their home, Casa Boucquillon. The roof of the house is reminiscent of the bark of the trees surrounding it. “Bark” is the English translation of the word for tree bark.
