Designer Wok for Light and Healthy Dishes

Alessi ’s Edo Wok is part of a timeless and elegant line of pots and pans designed by Patricia Urquiola. With the wok and its matching insert, you can prepare light and healthy dishes using very little oil while preserving all the food’s active nutrients. Thanks to the graceful design characteristic of the Edo series’ pots and pans, the wok can also double as a serving bowl on the dining table.

Leather-look handles

The designer drew inspiration for the series from the clean and graceful Japanese design language. The series’ name is derived from the Latin word “edere,” meaning “to eat,” and is also the ancient name of the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

Asia Wok for All Stove Types, Including Induction

The wok is made of Multiply (AISI 430, aluminum, 18/10 stainless steel) with a lid made of 18/10 stainless steel. The 18/10 stainless steel handles feature a brown PVD coating and resemble leather straps. The magnetic steel base is suitable for all stove types, allowing the wok to be used on induction cooktops as well. As is typical for Italian cookware, the lids are available separately upon request.
