According to Alessi himself, La Cupola is the quintessential espresso maker in his own line. Made of cast aluminum, La Cupola is Aldo Rossi’s answer to classic espresso makers and, in terms of both quality and price, an espresso maker for everyone. The design dates back to 1988, making it a prime example of how Aldo Rossi created some of the most iconic designs of the 1980s. La Cupola engages with people’s tastes: In terms of design, its elegant forms leave little to be desired, and when it comes to coffee, La Cupola has heat-conducting properties that make it possible to brew the perfect espresso.
